Terms & conditions
Last updated: 22 October 2026
1. Who I am
Spark Coaching with Val is my business, run by me, Valeria Kadelski, Teglholmsgade 70, 2.TH, 2450 Copenhagen, Denmark. CVR: 45793656. VAT number: DK45793656. Email: hello@sparkcoachingwithval.com.
These terms apply to everything you buy from me: the Spark Your Expat Business group programme, Spark 1:1 Coaching, workshops and digital products. A programme contract or written proposal may add details; if it differs from these terms, the contract applies.
2. How you buy
- Group programme: you apply, and if it's a fit I send you a contract and payment link. Your place is confirmed when your first payment is received. Places are confirmed in order of payment.
- 1:1 coaching: after a call, I send you a contract and payment link. Coaching starts once the contract is signed and the first payment is received.
- Workshops for organisations: agreed in a written proposal with the organisation booking them.
- Events: you register through Luma. Your place is confirmed when you receive the confirmation email.
- Digital products: bought through the online checkout. Prices include VAT. You receive access by email straight after payment.
3. Prices and payment
- Coaching programme prices are shown in EUR or DKK and exclude VAT. Danish VAT (25%) is added where applicable. Digital product prices include VAT. Business clients in another EU country with a valid VAT number are invoiced without VAT under the reverse-charge rules.
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe or the checkout provider shown at purchase.
- Payment plans: if you choose to pay in instalments, you agree to pay the full programme price. Stopping attendance doesn't cancel the remaining instalments. If a payment is more than 14 days late, access to sessions and materials may be paused until it's paid.
4. Your right to cancel (consumers)
If you buy as a private individual (a consumer) at a distance, for example online or by email, EU and Danish law gives you 14 days from the day the contract is made to cancel without giving a reason. To cancel, email hello@sparkcoachingwithval.com within those 14 days. I refund you within 14 days, using the same payment method.
- If you ask me to start a programme within the 14 days and then cancel, you pay for the part already delivered.
- Once a service has been fully delivered at your request, the right to cancel ends.
- Digital products: when you buy, you agree to immediate access and confirm you lose the right to cancel once delivery starts. Digital products are therefore non-refundable after purchase, unless they're faulty or not as described.
- If you buy as a business (for example through your company, with a VAT number), the statutory right to cancel doesn't apply.
After the 14-day period, the refund rules for each service below apply.
5. Spark Your Expat Business (group programme)
- Refunds: apart from your right to cancel in section 4, there are no refunds once your place is confirmed.
- Missed sessions: every live call is recorded and shared with the cohort. Missed sessions aren't refunded or made up individually.
- Recordings: by joining, you agree that the group calls are recorded. Recordings are shared only with members of your cohort and aren't published. Tell me if you'd prefer your camera to be off in recordings.
- Confidentiality in the group: what other participants share about their businesses and lives stays in the group. Please don't share it outside the cohort or the community Slack.
- The 5-buyer promise: if you attend the live calls and complete the weekly actions, and you haven't presented your priced offer to at least 5 potential buyers by week 12, you can join the next cohort's live calls free of charge until you have. This doesn't include another set of private 1:1 sessions.
- If I change or cancel a cohort: I may move the start date or cancel a cohort if too few people join. If the new date doesn't work for you, or I cancel, you get a full refund.
- Community Slack: lifetime access means for as long as I run the community. I may remove anyone who behaves disrespectfully or uses it to sell to other members without permission.
6. Spark 1:1 Coaching
- Refunds: apart from your right to cancel in section 4, there are no refunds.
- Rescheduling: you can move a session free of charge with at least 48 hours' notice. Sessions cancelled with less notice, or missed, count as used.
- Programme period: the 12 sessions need to be used within the 6-month programme period.
- Support between sessions: WhatsApp messages are answered within 24 hours.
7. Events and workshops
Public events: the price, date, format and refund rules are shown on each event's registration page. Tickets are for a specific date, and the refund rules shown on the event page apply. If I cancel or move an event, you can have a full refund.
Workshops for organisations: price, content, date and cancellation terms are agreed in writing with the organisation booking the workshop.
8. Results and your responsibility
Coaching supports your decisions and actions, and results depend on your own effort, your market and the conversations you have. I don't promise clients or revenue. Coaching isn't a substitute for legal, financial, tax, medical or psychological advice.
9. Intellectual property
All materials, frameworks (including the SPARK Framework™), templates, lessons and recordings remain the intellectual property of Spark Coaching with Val. You may use them for your own business, but not reproduce, share, resell or teach them without written permission. Everything you create for your own business is yours.
10. Confidentiality and personal data
I treat everything you share as confidential and won't share your information with third parties except the providers I need to deliver my services, or where required by law. Client results or quotes are only shared publicly with your permission. How I handle personal data is explained in my privacy policy.
11. Liability
My total liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. This doesn't limit any liability that can't be limited by law.
12. Complaints
Please contact me first at hello@sparkcoachingwithval.com so I can try to put things right. If you're a consumer and we can't resolve it, you can complain to Nævnenes Hus (the Danish consumer complaints board) at naevneneshus.dk (opens in a new tab).
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by Danish law, and disputes are handled by the Danish courts. If you're a consumer living in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country.
14. Changes
I may update these terms. The version that applies to you is the one in force when you bought.
